Recently, CMS scientists have celebrated publishing their 1,000th peer-reviewed research paper: https://cms.cern/news/cms-collaboration-celebrates-1000th-paper. Our Department continues its support of software development and computer science research excelling the scientific results of this experiment.
In 2020 AGH and CERN signed a MoU for a full AGH membership in the ALICE experiment which extended our status of an associate member established in 2017. Coordination: Prof. Jacek Kitowski.
Our Department has also been a full member of the TOTEM experiment since 2013 and CMS experiment since 2018. Coordination: Prof. Maciej Malawski and Dr. Leszek Grzanka.
