Piotr Faliszewski, professor at the AGH Institute of Computer Science, has joined the ranks of EurAi Fellows https://www.eurai.org/award/fellows. Participation in the EurAi Fellows program is a prestigious honor with which up to 3% of the members of European associations working on artificial intelligence are honored.
The EurAI Fellows program was initiated in 1999 to recognize individuals who have made significant, lasting contributions to the field of artificial intelligence (AI) in Europe. In its evaluation, the committee took into account, among other things, technical and scientific achievements and documented publications.
The award is given annually by EurAI, the European association for science and education in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The association was established to promote scientific achievements and AI technologies in Europe and to educate and encourage education in the field. EurAI is also the publisher of The European Journal on Artificial Intelligence and organizer of the ECAI conference, the next edition of which will be held in October 2023 in Krakow, Poland.
